Despite the move to HTML help for the touted reason that its easier to update, we're yet to see this in practise. It *is* there under "Contents -> Lingo Dictionary -> D-F -> debugPlaybackEnabled" The approach you describe should be working. The only thing I can see that may trip it up is that this thing is a system property, so it is "_the_ debug..." HTH, -Sean.
