IMO, the most elegant way would be to create a parent Script (which would easily allow you to create multiple groups) and then assign new Sprites to the "realm" of that child object....
creating a new group: SpGroup_1 = new(script "spriteGrouper") adding sprites to group: SpGroup_1.AddSprite(MySpriteNum) removing sprites: SpGroup_1.removeSprite(WhatSprite) operating the group: SpGroup_1.ScaleSprites(WhatScaleValue) SpGroup_1.SetSpriteBlend(WhatBlendValue) SpGroup_1.SetVisible(Visibility) etc. Pekka Buttler > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On > Behalf Of Jamie Dyer > Sent: 5. lokakuuta 2001 15:48 > To: Lingo (E-mail) > Subject: <lingo-l> grouping objects > > > Hi, > > Whats the best way to group sprites on the stage (programaticly) so that > I can perform scaling and moving on them all at the same time. > > I was thinking of creating a list containing all of the elements and > then looping through them changing their properties one at a time.
