To determine where your stage is:

sRect = (the stage).rect
stageLeft = sRect[1]
stageTop = sRect[2]

To set your MIAWs rect:

window("my miaw name here").rect = someRect
-- where --
someRect = rect( (stageLeft-320),(stageTop-240),stageLeft,stageRight )

Of course this assumes you mean the MIAW is 320 pixels to the left of the stage and 
240 pixels above it. Change the - to a plus as needed.
