dot syntax is more concise; this has worked for me:

sprite(1).locV=138

as for the randomization, look up the "random" function.

Subject: <lingo-l> random and the LocV

I have 4 sprite on a stage.
The first position is 138, the second is 178,the third is 218 and the last
is 258. I would like by clicking on a button, change the place of these
sprite with randomize function. I tried the command "set the LocV of sprite
1 = 138" but it doesn't work... :-(

Thank for your help !jacques Baume
