grimmwerks - I don't know where you are or who your provider is, but for the last week or so apparently Pacbell.net (quite a big provider here in the Bay area) has been having tremendous problems specific to their Mac users.
The primary symptom is unable to connect (to known good sites). The workaround I've been using is to try again (it works sometimes). A secondary symptom is to get pages loading with no graphics (I just do w/o them & get little placeholder 'x's instead).
