Been there,
Tried various mp3 compression tools- same story- hard to smoothly loop any
riff. Could try sound queues;

sound(2).queue([#member:member("introMusic"), #startTime:3000,\
#loopCount: 5,#loopStartTime:8000, #loopEndTime:8900])
sound(2).play
Still a bit of a drag though and not consistent- ended up converting to
.swa, looped sweet...lucky?...dunno, sort of wish Director was a little
better in that department.
