Yes it is possible. You need to have an online database, and the Data which
is to be updated, but having done it myself once, unless you are updating
single items, it's not an easy task.

To my best knowledge ASP-sites are serverside sites, meaning that the
browser infact does not read asp, but the server generates html from it.
Therefore, you would not be able to view asp sites locally *unless* the
localhost has a running version of Microsoft Internet Information server
(IIS), and you would somehow to be able to route your files through it...
