Hi Jason,

Al Hospers mentioned one utility to design the dialog window.  You should be
able to find another on the Director 8.0 CD-Rom.

As far as I know, neither of these window design utilities provides the
interactive code that you need to make the alert function.  You can find
working code samples for a number of types of dialog at...

mui.dir gives you a set of two and three button alerts, plus three custom
dialogs.  dynamic.dir gives you a proof-of-concept version of a dynamic
Behavior Parameters dialog, where the display in one control depends on the
user's choice in another.  The code in dynamic.dir can also be used to
create Behavior Parameter dialogs with horizontal separation lines and
comment lines not attached to any particular control.
