Kristian: I'm not sure what you are after, but here's a stab.
I don't prefer importFileInto, I like to set the filename of a member to a web-based file. What if you used external casts? They could hold .dir files that were linked externally to files on a web server. Your main projector could load the casts and they in turn would link to the most current .dir files. With each issue you would actually download another cast file. Your projector would need to handle newly added casts somehow. Perhaps a getNthFileinFolder or something in Buddy would help with that. Otherwise you'll need to check a flag of some sort to see if you currently have the most recent files. This would involve a comparison of data from the current web site and the user's hard drive. Lots of programming, waiting for downloads, etc. Sounds like a fun project!
