I think you're onto some good ideas, but here's a third one. If the whole results can be represented by text, you could prepare the text how you want it in a Text member, and then do a copytoclipboard of that member. The user could than paste the results into whatever text editing program they like, and print it. Saying that has raised an issue, which is that they could easily modify their results (same is true of a printout/fax alternative, or an e-mail). Perhaps one way to go is a CGI that takes your posted results text, and would e-mail it to the manager, without the user ever seeing the text.
