Hi Fabrice, You might have a code page problem. Lithuanian and Turkish are both different encodings, and different from Western European. Western European, or Latin-1, is defined by the ISO 8859.1 standard. Lithuanian is in the Baltic group, or ISO 8859.4, and Turkish is 8859.9. Each uses a different code page--8859.1, which is used by English, French, and German Director, uses code page 1252; Lithuanian uses code page 1257; and Turkish uses code page 1254. Have you tried embedding Turkish and Lithuanian fonts in the cast? You didn't say if the program was running on English Windows, but from your comments on the regional settings, that is what I would guess. I'm not guaranteeing that they will work, because since 7.0, Director hasn't been real good at supporting other code pages. I don't think you need an in-line IME. Those are usually for multi-byte languages like Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Turkish and Lithuanian are single-byte languages, so text entry is done with a standard keyboard (that is, a standard Turkish or Lithuanian keyboard, typically on Turkish or Lithuanian Windows.) You probably won't get the in-line IME to work in a single-byte Windows system unless you have a third-party Asian language system installed, like Twin Bridge. So, you're probably not doing anything wrong. Hope this helps!
