The Timehouse Speech Xtra enables the developer to create multimedia products which have the ability to generate Speech. The Timehouse Speech Xtra provides the developer with a powerful and easy to use interface for Microsoft�s Speech API (SAPI). SAPI is the de-facto standard in Windows-based Text-To-Speech technologies, making it possible for most developers to distribute speech synthesizer modules for free. The Timehouse Speech Xtra Supports SAPI versions 4 and 5 and provides the developer with a similar and intuitive interface for both versions making it easy and care-free to create talking applications. The Timehouse Speech Xtra currently supports Director 7, 8 and 8.5 on 32-bit Windows environments.
