I had a similar problem a while back with projectors made on win98SE dutch version - they wouldn't run on any other OS, including the first win 98 - still don't know why... could have been a bad 98 build - never had it again since.... As for NT, sure it runs projectors - though sometimes it has some nasty sound problems on some machines....
Does it occur only on that single comp, or is it the same thing with other machines running NT? Any wierd software running in the bg? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Iain Sheild" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2001 9:15 AM Subject: <lingo-l> Windows NT cannot run Director exes? > Sorry if you have read this already although I think it might have got > swamped by the spam yesterday - it is really important to me. > I get the following error when on opening director exe files on a nt 4 > workstation (running service pack 6) can anybody shed any light on this > situation??
