Sorry Micke I assumed that the paste worked properly and didn't check. I have the prop list defined correctly with "#prop:value", for some reason the paste to Outlook removed the colons.
Interestingly tempPoint[1] and tempPoint.locH work simliarly, and I still have the problem with it not setting. Here's an output from the message window: -- point(148, 37) -- point(0, 37) -- point(148, 37) -- "__________________________________________" The first value is the regPoint being read into tempPoint, the second is the altered point value in tempPoint and the third is the regPoint after I have attempted to set it. Any idea what is going wrong? I thought maybe the values would be updated after a frame (happens sometimes in Flash) but reading regPoint later in time makes no difference. So I'm left concluding that you can't set the regPoint of filmloops? What do you reckon? Cheers Simon P.S. The sig gets put in by my ever helpful information security team, so even if I was swedish I couldn't lose it :( -----Original Message----- From: Mikael Wirn [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 26 November 2001 16:25 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: <lingo-l> regPoint in Filmloops > I'm trying to set the regPoint property on some Filmloops > using the code > below. Hi Simon, first of all you have to separate your proplist props from their value with a : like: <e-mail lingo> regPoints = [[#name:"right1",#pos:point(0,0),#adj:-5]] then you have to adress your change of the locH like this: tempPoint[1] = regPoints[i].pos[1] </e-mail lingo> then it should work me thinks =) Very fast answer beware of the swift bug ;) Hey im only Swedish, but i cut my sig out =) Ta ta /Micke [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo.
