Try recording with goldwave (free demo @ www.goldwave.com) or Cool edit.
Save as high quality stereo sound wav. Convert to mp3 and import to director
or convert to shockwave audio (.swa)in director.

Subject: <lingo-l> SOUND

I am wanting to put voice overs into my Director movie. What is the best way
to record sound files which are relatively small but good quality? Does
anyone know any good sound recording programs which I should get hold of?

Thanks in advance.
