Hey all, just a quick note that there have been some updates to the directordev.com website:
Code section <http://www.directordev.com/?sect=code> 1. Kraig "madman" Mentor has been at it again, the 3D behavior set he previously posted bloated with 30 new behaviors! In addition to that he gave me a new QT behavior set with code fixes and a new behavior. Thanks Kraig! 2. I posted a new movie script with a handler that can be called in order to determine if the current machine has the minimum required version of the RealPlayer installed. Learning section <http://www.directordev.com/?sect=learning> 1. I posted an article I wrote on achieving visual trails effects in Director and Shockwave. 2. Tim Strelchun of Intel provided a nice demo movie in which he shows how to create "texture fonts" and then use those to display text strings via overlays. 3. Courtesy of Agustin Maria Rodriguez, a private developer, many of the primitive demo movies have now been translated into Spanish! 4. I posted the source files that were used to model the head in my LingoBones demo. Links section <http://www.directordev.com/?sect=links> 1.
