All,
I have a shockwave movie
that plays videos using QuickTime. The movies are in .Mov format. Each movie has
a corresponding reference .mov file.
The movie is uploaded on
a http server. I would like to know what is the maximum number of parallel users
that can access the movie at any given instance efficiently? or rather is there
any limit to the maximum parallel connections?
If yes, how do I
increase the number of users accessing to say 500+ ?
Is it necessary to go
for a "Streaming Server"? As far as I know streaming servers / RTSP are best
used in case of "Live" streaming videos.
I would really
appreciate any kind of help or clues. Please let me know where to find more info
on these topics as I am unable to find substantial resources for the
same.
