I just tried to sign up for MyDHR.

I can't tell if the CAPTCHA works because it won't accept my Medicare Number (Enter a valid value)

I've tried multiple ways:

Type in the full 10 digit number with no spaces (The data input field obfuscates the number, replacing the digits with *)

Type in the full 10 digit number with spaces

Type in the 9 digit number with and without spaces

Type the number (10 and 9 digits) into a text file to check accuracy and paste into the data input field

No luck.

At least there is a valid looking email address to ask what to do next.

I just tried signing up.

I filled in all the personal details, ticked the "I'm not a robot", identified the traffic lights, got an OK from the CAPTCHA, clicked next and waited.

The response was "You must answer the CAPTCHA." in red.

After five tries I looked for some way to get support. In the FAQ it says:

Who do I contact if I have further questions?
Email us at [email protected] or call our MyDHR Patient Support Line at (02) 5124 5000

At that point I gave up, I'm not going to waste my time sending an email to [email protected]
