Well that is okay then.
Personal data will only be sold to companies in friendly countries, who have our best interest at heart.

In any case the unfriendly countries seem to be doing a fine job of getting our 
personal data for nothing.

I wonder when the combined effects of worrying about hacking & spying, an 
inability to distinguish the output of AI bots from human-authors, insecure 
personal data, disillusionment with the advertising avalanche, and social harm 
generally will result in a a radically different internet.
