Greetings, Linkers As of today, please welcome Stephen Loosely as a Link list administrator, who will be joining Martin Barry (who has been an administrator since 2011).
As many of you are aware, Stephen has been an enthusiastic and prolific Link poster, and has kindly accepted the invitation to take over from me. I shall be stepping back from my internet-related commitments for a while, as I’m about to undergo complex and difficult bladder cancer surgery - and my recovery time (if the operation is successful) will require many months of convalescence. I’ve been unwell for a while, which is why my own activity in Link has diminished of late. Whilst I’m open to discussing personal medical issues with friends and associates (in the spirit of sharing useful health information to assist others), I would prefer that if you want more detail, please email me privately. It’s been a challenging journey. I will remain a Link member (I can’t think of a time when I was not a Link member...), but my participation rate will drop even further for a while, at least. I very much value the friendships that have arisen from this esteemed and venerable list over the years, and I always enjoy reading each post and following the threads of all of the topics discussed. The number of Linkers, whilst not what it used to be, has not diminished in the past 3 or more years. This is a good sign!
