Not sure there are economies for universities at this scale, especially if you have a lot of campuses. Adelaide and South Australia have campuses just down the road from each other. This is valuable inner city land, so the savings might come by closing one, or keeping it and turning it into commercial rental space. > They need to get their bus-shelter messages into Google's catchment. ... Yes. Normally when I see a weird uni ad, I do a search and find a video for it on Youtube, and a uni site. https://blog.highereducationwhisperer.com/search/label/TV%20advertising But in this case I couldn't find much. Perhaps they don't want non-domestic students seeing it and getting frustrated they can't enroll. -- Tom Worthington http://www.tomw.net.au -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Actually, I thought Govs needed to require Google (and other social media companies) and Bus shelter advertising companies - to help spread Covid pandemic health messages. I now think they should be spreading "Waste" messages. Ironically, Bus put Passengers off at that very bus stop as the motor was failing becuse of the thick smoke. I tried masks when the air in Sydney was so, heavy with Bushfire smoke? that it stalled buses on Parramatta Rd in the Jan? before the Australian Gov recognised the Covid pandemic "Steering the Private Sector in COVID-19 Diagnostic Test Kit Development in South Korea": https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33282810/ And now ZOOM and Eventually Teams are part of our everyday https://www.computerweekly.com/news/252484128/Covid-19-drives-Zoom-boom-in-first-quarter-of-2020 zoom was rumoured to have been established in 1995.
