Ah yes, now that you mention language use...  No doubt it's in the vested 
interest of certain corporations & political interests to keep their arguments 
as simple & general as they can get away with, easy sentences with a high 
"motherhood value" but low in semantic precision.

But the more serious the issue, and the higher up the socio-cultural hierarchy 
the speaker, the more important it is to use language with care.  I've heard 
rhetorical flourishes from some of our leaders recently  about "anti-semitism", 
"terrorism", and "hate-speech" which have made me cringe.  Such expressions are 
NOT synonymous... and thank goodness for Constitutional Lawyers!

I certainly agree that LLM-parsing of "meaning" from text without understanding 
is a different process to making that same meaning available as originally 
written (whatever the medium).  However both affect an author & publisher's 
right to earn a living by selling that same content.

And I wonder how a Court would regard an LLM attributing a wrong, and possibly 
actionable, meaning to an author's work?  Which human entity is legally 
responsible?
