I heard a follow up to that story on ABC, either AM or local, I think local, because Melbourne radio knows more about what is happening in Victoria than Sydney based programs. The current manager of Caribbean Gardens disputed much of what was reported about their clients because the data was from 2010 or some such earlier period. They have been scouting for problems since because of possible liability to CG. Also, he said the disks were legal because they came from the US and were manufactured under whatever arrangements the distributors had. I don't recall if that was claimed in terms of the earlier data or current circumstances. The point was, they had imported the disks, sealed in their correct containers, not the shonky stuff. So does this mean MPAA is miffed about the sale of legitimately produced copies now that are outside the particular zone?
