It's interesting how he is officially vilified but regarded as a hero by 80% of the rest of the US population (and just about everyone outside the US.) I can't imagine that the "ruling class" would relent on this one - the whole state security process is maintained by certainty that they will go after transgressors with the hot tongs, no exceptions.
I also think that there would be a significant chance of assassination by a rogue crazy if he returned now. Maybe a decade of chill time would improve things. - Jim On 2 January 2014 14:30, Fernando Cassia <[email protected]> wrote: > Great, well researched editorial with lots of links > > http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/02/opinion/edward-snowden-whistle-blower.html?smid=tw-share&_r=0 > > FC > -- > During times of Universal Deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary > act > Durante épocas de Engaño Universal, decir la verdad se convierte en un Acto > Revolucionario > - George Orwell > _______________________________________________ > Link mailing list > [email protected] > http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/link > _______________________________________________ Link mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/link
