I'm going around in circles in my Firefox browser. When I check for plug-in status, I'm advised to update Flash. I go to the http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ BUT the "Install Now" button at the bottom right directs to www.adobe.com When that page opens, they list the download as (you got it) http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ It also doesn't display the Optional extras content, just the title of the box. And yes, I have enabled cookies for the site. And no, my antivirus program doesn't block installing anything. It asks for permission when I try to install something. Found the problem. Ghostery breaks it. They insist on allowing beacons in order for the software to install. Another red flag. All done. I was successful with IE and have updated that one.
