If the Zigbee-equipped router could connect to the electricity smart 
meter and control an air conditioner, that could save billions of 
dollars in upgrading the power grid. Customers could opt to have their 
air conditioners switch to a low power setting at times of peak demand, 
in return for a discount. But LG seem to be be the only conditioner 
provider supporting Zigbee.
