Just for kicks, I enabled as just Allow for Session to see what would happen. It worked. It's hard to know what the 3rd party arrangements are when you do it 'per site'. I have my general options set to NOT accept 3rd party.
Be sure you don't just refresh the screen and that you're asking for http://www.theaustralian.com.au/ again. Firefox 29 give me a shield block indicator and a warning that the site doesn't provide identity info.
