That's good news. I venture to suggest that it is only fairly recently that this became the case. And also, it's worth pointing out that 40% of all Facebook's emails are still NOT encrypted in transit. And of course this is just Facebook. Unless 60% of facebook can be assumed to be 60% of everything (which I think would be going a step too far), it is still unwise to assume that your email is encrypted all the way to the recipient. And it remains unwise to think that your email will be encrypted while in storage on an email server.
