If you read the comments attached to various media reports there are multiple examples where a physical passport is the only real solution. Most of them start with the observation that there are many more places than an airport when you need to prove who you are. e.g. On the border between any two African counties. In the mountains of Pakistan or Afghanistan. On the streets of many a city where you can lawfully be asked to provide your ID. IMHO it's a bunch of techos with limited real world experience who haven't (and/or are incapable of) thinking it through. -- Regards brd Bernard Robertson-Dunn Sydney Australia email: [email protected] web: www.drbrd.com web: www.problemsfirst.com Blog: www.problemsfirst.com/blog _______________________________________________ Link mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/link
