Would it be worth just emailing everybody on the list to enquire whether they wished to remain members of Link? If an email bounces we can assume not. Those who take the trouble to reply in the affirmative go onto an updated list. Maybe it should be done two or three times at weekly intervals to make sure, and using an account which is going to report non-deliveries.
