Perhaps the "National Wind Farm Commission" doesn't appear in Google because it does not exist. On their website the Department of Environment refer to the "Office of the National Wind Farm Commissioner". I could find no mention of a "National Wind Farm Commission" on any Australian Government website. A Google search for "National Wind Farm Commission" brought up as the first hit "Appointment of National Wind Farm Commissioner": http://www.environment.gov.au/minister/hunt/2015/mr20151009.html This includes "For current information on the National Wind Farm Commissioner, see www.environment.gov.au/nwfc" which that redirects to "National Wind Farm Commissioner" http://www.environment.gov.au/climate-change/national-wind-farm-commissioner If the Department of Environment want web searches to find the "National Wind Farm Commission", then they just need to use that term on a web page. Environment has competent information professionals who I am sure know this, as does DTO. It may be that someone in government forgot to do the paperwork to create the Commission and DTO, quite reasonably, will not set up a web site for an organization which does not exist. -- Tom Worthington FACS CP, TomW Communications Pty Ltd. t: 0419496150 The Higher Education Whisperer http://blog.highereducationwhisperer.com/ PO Box 13, Belconnen ACT 2617, Australia http://www.tomw.net.au Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation Adjunct Lecturer, Research School of Computer Science, College of Engineering & Computer Science, Australian National University http://people.cecs.anu.edu.au/user/3890 http://orcid.org/0000-0003-4799-8464 _______________________________________________ Link mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/link
