Hi all,

For those who don't know, the NBN Interim Satellite Service (ISS) is to be discontinued on 28 February. The satellite is nearing end-of-life and that's when the contract ends. ISS customers are (were) to be given priority for transfer to the Sky Muster Long-Term Satellite Service (LTSS).

A Kimberley-region user reports that their LTSS installation has been postponed four times since November. It's now scheduled for the end of March. A month without Internet (assuming the installation actually happens then) is not good for business (or anything else) in this day and age. Another user in the same area reports:
As far as I know no one in the Kimberley in a remote area has received Skymuster. We are given an install date several months in advance only for it to be cancelled a day before; so in essence we are being lied to as the logistics to install Skymuster are simple not in place. In other words, the technicians and dishes to be installed aren't even here yet. NBN verbally admitted as much in December last year. Multiple customers who all want the new service in the same boat.
