If Labor is in government after the May (?) election the legislation can be changed, but it certainly won't be changed if the Coalition is re-elected. You choose.... Political history is littered with triumphs of Great Principle over political reality. Remember how the Greens voted down the carbon-trading protocol worked out between Rudd & Turnbull because it wasn't good enough?
