Facebook is back. Don't know about Instagram.
What was weird was that saved items are behaving strangely. I can still
see them when I log into FB via the web, but not when I log in via the
app on my tablet. Must still be a sync problem. A friend had the
opposite happen. Logging on via her computer (not sure what type) did
NOT show her saved things. Or maybe her server just hadn't rebooted yet.
One thing this demonstrates is the false economy of relying on cloud
storage, even with behemoth companies like FB.
