The government released a Coronavirus app a few weeks ago. It is called Coronavirus Australia and was a very simple app that only provided links to other sites and is available in the Google Play Store.
The new app is called CovidSafe and details are available here https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/covidsafe-app It can be downloaded from here: Registration is from 6:00pm https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.gov.health.covidsafe A search for CovidSafe or TraceTogether (a name that has been mentioned in the media) in Google Play both bring up the earlier Coronavirus Australia.
