Hi all,
i am just using linphone1.2 with speex1.2beta2 version for arm. But the quality
is very bad.
My configuration file of linphonec is :
..
.
[sound]
playback_dev_id=0
ringer_dev_id=0
capture_dev_id=0
rec_lev=80
play_lev=80
ring_lev=80
source=m
local_ring=...
remote_ring=...
[video]

.
[audio_codec_0]
mime=speex
rate=16000
enabled=1

.
and the other codecs are not enabled. For example, If i use the PCMA codec
with rate=8000 instead of speex, the sound quality is better (no echo, i can
understand the voice...)
But i thought that speex is better than the others ? Am i wrong ? What can i do
to improve the quality of speex with linphonec ?
