Rekha,
I can't say I recall seeing before that you want to run 3.1.0. That
is quite old, I no longer have a copy of it around. I am surprised
that you would need to upgrade anything on Slack 13 to run that.
I got 3.2.1 working on Slack 13.0 without upgrading atk or cairo.
