Unfortunately I cannot see the webcam.
In preferences/multimedia setting where video input device is, there is
nothing shown. Its 'greyed out' as if there is nothing detected to give
options which to me is strange because it detects the microphone.

libv4l1 and then try to run Linphone with:
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so linphone-3 You will need

The webcam is a Philipsspc900nc/00. I installed it from the Fedora
repositories.
The webcam works fine with other software so I was surprised that it
didn't
with linphone. The microphone that I am am to use is built in to the
webcam.
In the preferences, the webcam section is 'greyed out'.
I would provide a message log but uncertain how to get it.
