Well, you may be in deeper sh*t than you think. If you Google up "voip hangup after 36 seconds" you'll see that there are many similar reports. I had it myself on a Thomson Speedtouch ST780 WL. I never got to solve it only to replace the modem. I'm now sitting behind a FritzBox and with me the problem has not occurred anymore. Hope you find a solution for yourself. Goodluck.
