I have installed Linphone on my Debian Wheeezy system. I am behind a router, with local IP address 192.168.1.50. I am forwarding ports 5060-5070, 7078-7089, 9078-9079 to my system. in network settings I have specified the usual ports, and I have specified "Behind NAT/Firewall", giving the external address of the router as the "Public IP address".
I can call the echo test number sip:[email protected] and it works OK. However, if I call the callback test number sip:[email protected] it does not work. When this number is called, the remote server hangs up and then calls back, so this is a way of testing incoming call capability. It has worked for me before with Twinkle, but it doea not work for me with Linphone. Can anyone suggest anything to try? Thanks.
