Hello Ghislain, Thank you for your reply. I have been investigating this a little further and I believe I understand what is happening. Puppy Linux is a cut-down Linux distro designed to be small, light and fast. I find that if I add the ca-certificates package I can register on sip.linphone.org using TLS transport without any problems so I guess this issue is solved.
