Hi Liviu, Sorry late. The performance issue in the chat view in Linphone Desktop has been solved. The bug was actually in the SDK of Linphone. So, the issue on Android may also be solved.
There is no Linphone release scheduled in the next days. So, if you want enjoy the fix quickly, you may rebuild Linphone from source by basing on branch 3.8.x. Regards, -- François Grisez Software Engineer Belledonne Communications
