Hi Soren, I'm not an Apple expert either, I feel more at home in the Windows/Linux world. But who need to be and Apple expert? Those things are idiot-proof, if not jailbroken. If no other third party apps are installed and 'Background App Refresh' is on, it must work. And if it doesn't, you have a problem. I think you can do much more, if you have no "Battery Savings Apps". The only think you can try is put back factory settings, and reinstall again, but I don't know if that will solve the issue, but I wouldn't know something else. You can install some other communication programs to see if they not fall in sleep. I remember in May when I had similar issues as you on my iPhone, my Android device kept all the time connection. Carlo

Also check settings like "Background App > Refresh" and "Use Cellular Data" if you are a mobile network. > > > > 2015-08-26 12:03 GMT+02:00 Soren Nielsen <[email protected]>: > > Hi Carlo, > > > > Thanks for your e-mail. > > I use an iPhone 4S with iOS 8.4.1 (12H321) and Linphone 2.2.4.2 (core > 3.7.0-1660-gea0eacc). > > I have the same issue on an iPhone 6. > > Looks like a setting/restriction in iOS, but I am seeking help? > > > > Regards … Soren > > > > *From:* [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] *On > Behalf Of *Carlo Vogels > *Sent:* 26 August 2015 11:54 > *To:* [email protected] > *Subject:* Re: [Linphone-users] iPhone client falls asleep > > > > Hi Soren, > > > > I use Linphone on the iPhone 5 too since April of this year.
