Hi! As I'm new to the Linphone mailing list, I first want to say a huge thanks for providing such an amazing software! It is great to have the opportunity to do audio and video SIP calls with a completely open source and well written software from all major platforms. Thanks!
I want to report about an issue when using Linphone on Android tablet with a headset plugged in. While doing audio only calls the audio output is routed properly to the headset, and I have the opportunity to switch between headset and speaker with the 'speaker' button in the Linphone menu. However, if I activate a video chat, then the audio output is only routed to the speaker, and the 'speaker' button turns grey. Unplugging and re-inserting the headset into the tablet while the video chat is active does not lead to a change either. Interestingly, when using the same software on an Android mobile phone, then the audio output can be routed to the headset as expected. So I don't know whether that is related to the software or to the operating system. Could you maybe help me to figure out what the cause of that problem is? Many thanks Thomas _______________________________________________ Linphone-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/linphone-users
