Update: I tried using linphone-3.8.5.pkg on a different system running OS X Version 10.9.5, and the installer succeeded there. I inspected the package, and it looked like everything was contained within the Linphone.app UNIX directory, so a made a tarball of it and moved it to the 10.10.4 machene, where it seems to be running just fine. So my immediate problem's solved, and I don't know enough about how .pkg installers work on OS X to have any idea why it fails on Yosemite. (Does it fail for anyone else on Yosemite?) Hopefully someone may have an idea. If Linphone is entirely self-contained, though, an alternative to extensive debugging might be to distribute a .dmg containing Linphone.app (as is fairly common on OS X) rather than a .pkg. Philip
