Hi, When I contact a person which runs the current version of Linphone on Google Play on a Samsung J5 with my version 3.1-fdroid on CM12 I get connected directly through. I hear a number of rings, but the other side does not hear any ringing and does not answer the call actively. Then I can hear anything the microphone on the other end catches. Frightening. The other person that had installed linphone upon my recommendation has uninstalled it now, also upon my recommendation. Sorry, but no debug is possible as the other side is elderly.
I do not have this problem with other communication partners, albeit it is often difficult for me to initiate a call. I cannot hear the other side. It is mostly necessary that the other side calls me back. One other error that I have on my Samsung Galaxy S2 is, that 1 out of 2 times even after hanging up or having lost connection, the proximity sensor that switches off the display when holding the phone to the ear keeps doing just that, so that a touch to the display in the top third switches off the display. A reboot is necessary to fix this. It is unclear to me, if linphone thinks the connection is still active, or if it just forgets to deactivate the sensor. I am under the impression, that it happens more often when the other side hangs up. Best regards, M _______________________________________________ Linphone-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/linphone-users
