I've installed /Linphone/ on a fresh OS (/Xubuntu/ 16.04) however with
an existing /home device. There was 2 previous installations (4.0 and
4.1.1) installed, and I removed them manually :
$ flatpak --user uninstall com.belledonnecommunications.linphone//4.0
$ flatpak --user uninstall com.belledonnecommunications.linphone//4.1.1
I've reinstalled /Linphone:/
$ flatpak --user install --from
https://linphone.org/flatpak/linphone.flatpakref
It went well, except I don't have an icon to run Linphone from my
application menu, I have to run manually typing:
$ flatpak run com.belledonnecommunications.linphone
So what's the recommended way to get a Linphone icon ? I could create a
linphone.desktop with that command ... but I suppose the flatpak
installation must have created something ! ? !
On another hand, on June, 3rd, I've sent a message about not being able
to get an audio response when calling OVH call centre (1007).
On June, 19th, I got a reply from [email protected], stating
that he had the same problem on /Linphone/ 4 for PC ... but no news
about that since: any progress on that ?
Also, the whole point of having a softphone is the integration with the
other apps on the PC. At the moment, there's no possibility to initiate
calls with Linphone (by giving a parameter) -although it was possible
with Linphone 3- : any news about that ?
