I don't know, I'm using this software for 3 months. It's a very good tool
(same level of quality than it's proprietary challenger Zoipper), but like
you I think there were some small changes that have to be done (so I
subscribed to this ML as a first step, I haven't enough time right now to
set up the dev env in order to submit patch  :-)).

First, you can wait a bit (response delay may be caused by the weekend and
other priority of maintainers) and maybe you can also try the GitHub
project: https://github.com/BelledonneCommunications/linphone-desktop
