Hello. I can reproduce your issue.
It seems that your Linux Mint version (18.2) is too old for our Linphone desktop 4.2.0 We may improve our build system to support it, but I advise you to upgrade. I found the error by launching in the terminal : /tmp/.mount_Linpho1UXja3/AppRun.wrapped: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.22' not found (required by /tmp/.mount_Linpho1UXja3/usr/bin/../lib/libmediastreamer.so.11) Regards, Peio Rigaux Junior Software Engineer Belledonne Communications, the company behind Linphone Linphone.org <https://linphone.org/> Le 01/07/2020 à 07:57, Alain Carrière a écrit : > Good morning, > > I have downloaded the Linphone 4.2 appimage this morning and am unable > to open it after checking the box "Allow executing file as a program". > > My Linux Mint version is 18.3. > > Why doesn't it work? > > I need your help to solve this issue. > > Thank you! >
