Getting f-droid updates of linphone newly published versions used to
work very smoothly, till 5.2.5 - I wonder if something got 'lost in the
way' so they are not being automatically aware of upstream new
versions ...

Ok. I see that they are still working on it, and f-droid still has 5.2.5

I wasn't aware of the following site (I learned about it from your
issue messages):

        https://gitlab.linphone.org/BC/public/linphone-android/

So I decided to try to install 6.0.3 from

        https://download.linphone.org/releases/android/?C=M;O=D

It downloaded fine, and clicking starts the installation process, which
seems to be ok 'at first', but ends-up with this message

        Linphone
        The app was not installed

But it doesn't say why, anyone has an idea?
